Lawn Bowling Schedule Information
Check in time Tuesday, March 20 will be 9:30. The first round will begin at 10 AM.
On Tuesday each team will bowl 3 ten end games. Opponents will be picked by draw ahead of time in a public event. After Tuesday games are complete the teams will be divided into 3 brackets. The top 4 teams will be in the Gold Bracket. The next four in the Silver Bracket and the last four in the Bronze Bracket.
On Wednesday, March 21 check in time will be 9:30 and the first game will begin at 10 AM. All teams will be bowling for a medal on Wednesday the value will depend on your bracket. All teams will play 3 ten end games on Wed. in a round robin sequence. Medals will be awarded at the end of the day.
We are very pleased at the quality of the teams bowling and are very excited to be able to present this event in cooperation with the Bay Area Senior Games- California State Championships for the 4th year.

This notice regards the Pairs Tournament for the Lawn Bowling event in the 2012 Bay Area Senior Games to be held at the Palo Alto Green on Thursday, March 22 and Friday, March 23. Please share this information with your team mate.
On Thursday, March 22nd check in time will be 9 AM. The first round will start at 9:30. The 16 teams will be divided into four brackets by draw. Each bracket will play a round robin sequence. There will be 12 teams bowling at a time so each team will have one bye round during the day. Each game will be 12 ends.
The draw will be held in public prior to March 22nd. This will save a lot of time on Thursday morning Also if you have a bye in the first round we will notify so you can arrive at 10:30.
One winner will come out of each bracket. Only these four teams will return for the finals on Friday, March 23rd. Each team will be playing two 14 end games that day. The winners of the first match will play in a second game for the Gold and Silver. The losers of the first round will be playing for the bronze in their second game.
